The acceptance by the governors on the medical equipment bought by the government is a big relief to people with cancer, diabetes and kidney failure who will begin to work towards regaining their full health with more confidence.
The equipments will enable most of the citizens to enjoy specialized medical care thus reducing the hustles and tussles of some of them traveling all the way to Kenyatta National Hospital and Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital seeking for medication
The tale of the poor Kenyans who can’t access medical assistance abroad and are being forced to wait for over six months to one year to get treatment for cancer, diabetes and renal issues would be a thing of the past as counties would be adequately equipped.
The governors need not to worry because the project will be fully financed by the National Government through the ministry of health. The contracted vendors will provide direct infrastructure for the installation of the medical equipment.
