The manner by which the Members of Parliament behaved while the president was delivering his State of the Nation address was so outrageous and showed lack of mannerism and decorum in the house. It is an act so barbaric and unacceptable for such high profile persons such as our Members of Parliament. It is the duty of the president as mandated by the constitution to give his state of the Nation Address yearly and in anytime when need arises. The act is very shameful to every Kenyan to see leaders whom they elected carry themselves in a way that even the children are better off.

Respect is mandatory to every member of the house and also being a high profile person the manner to which they carry themselves should be adhered to as it is in the constitution. The eight Members of Parliament should work on their mannerism and also the cord fraternity to put their house in order. It is also sad very sad that all of them come from one county which adds more shame to the entire county. Parliament is a house of order and rules and thus respect to every persons opinion and good manners is a prerequisite.
