Happy birthday Nyayo. These were the sentiments in
the social media platforms being delivered to the Professor of politics. They
were best wishes to our second president of the Republic of Kenya. Nyayo as he
is commonly referred was celebrating his 90th birthday yesterday on
2nd September 2014. The celebrations were held at the Kabarak University
grounds where he was welcomed by cheers from students from primary level to the
university. Many leaders joined him to celebrate including his son Gideon Moi who is the current Senator
of Baringo County.

To achieve the 90 years like Nyayo is what many are
dreaming about. Probably it is next to impossible due to the lifestyles that
most are living. The retired president said that his secret to coin the ninety
years is through living a healthy life and most of all is to know God. This is contrary to most because of the junk
food full of fats and chemicals which threaten to shorten the lifespan.
Happy birthday our retired president, may you live
to celebrate more and more birthdays each year.
